Fourth Grade Visit to DelVue Arcade

As part of our end-of-year celebrations, the 4th grade students enjoyed a fun-filled visit to DelVue Arcade right here in town! Our 4th graders had the opportunity to spend time with friends, play a variety of arcade games, and celebrate all of their hard work and accomplishments throughout the school year. It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, excitement, and lasting memories as we wrap up an amazing year together!

The Kindness Rocks Project

Beginning with Random Acts of Kindness Week in February, students have been taking part in a school-wide art project creating and placing kindness rocks.

The Kindness Rocks Project is a global movement where people write inspiring, positive, kind and meaningful messages on smooth rocks, then place them out in the community and encourage others to pick them up or create their own. It's a mission to spread kindness and joy to others through works of art.

At South Elementary, Mrs. Warchalowsky, Counselor Cortina and Principal Quinones have helped guide students to create rocks of their own throughout the year. Students placed their rocks outside of the school entrance last week to spread the overall message of kindness to the community!
