Winter Concert

This week, our upper elementary ensembles will present their live Winter Concert on Thursday, January 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the All-Purpose Room. The 4th Grade Band and the combined 3rd and 4th Grade Chorus have been working hard to prepare a variety of musical selections that showcase their growing skills in singing, instrumental performance, and ensemble collaboration.

This concert is an exciting opportunity for students to perform for a live audience and to celebrate their progress and teamwork. Families and community members are warmly invited to attend and support our young musicians as they share the results of their hard work.

A diverse group of students sits in chairs holding recorders, ready for music class.

A large group of elementary school students pose for a photo, with many wearing orange shirts.

Our music classes across all grade levels have also been very busy so far this winter! In December, every class participated in a recording to share with families before winter break. Students across grade levels sang, danced, and performed on classroom instruments such as tone bells, auxiliary percussion, and Boomwhackers.

In addition, all students in grades K–4 joined together for a special school-wide performance of Happy Holiday, which was recorded and shared with the entire school community. If you missed seeing your child’s class performance or the Happy Holiday recording, please check your ParentSquare feed from Monday, December 22, or feel free to reach out to Mrs. Krimm.

Children in festive attire sit on colorful risers, some holding toy guitars, with candy cane decorations.

Third Grade Trip to Planetarium

On Friday, January 23rd, our 3rd graders took an exciting trip to the planetarium! Students explored the night sky, learned about planets, stars, and constellations, and deepened their understanding of space through engaging, hands-on experiences. The visit brought our science and wit and wisdom learning to life. It sparked curiosity and great questions from our young astronomers.
