Fourth Graders Shine as Creative Storytellers

Mrs. Couzzi and Mr. Hudak’s 4th-grade class created tales of survival and courage in extreme mountain environments. To bring their stories to life, they designed original artwork, illustrating unique book covers that captured the challenges of their mountainous settings. The combination of storytelling and creative artwork showed their hard work and growth as young writers and illustrators!

As a district we will be celebrating Random Acts of Kindness week February 10th - 14th. Mrs. Cortina and Ms. Arcieri are excited to announce a fun and meaningful challenge for our students: the Cereal Box Kindness Challenge! This activity will not only engage our school community in a creative project, but also serve as a reminder of how kindness can spread like a chain reaction.

On Wednesday, February 12th, elementary and middle school students will gather together to watch their efforts come to life! As part of the Kindness Challenge, staff will line up cereal boxes in a domino pattern, setting them up so that they topple one after the other. The goal is to visually demonstrate how one small action can have a big impact, just like kindness. When one box falls, it triggers the next — a powerful reminder that one act of kindness can inspire many more. LAST DAY FOR CEREAL collection is 2/12.
